IT'S BROKEN !

"The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds." -R.D. Laing

  1. It's broken was a very interesting topic and I really enjoyed talking about it in class. When we watched the short film on broken things it made me think about our society and all the things that are broken in it. I thought of some things that are broken. Purchasing a car for example is somewhat broken because everyone sees the price on the car and they think they can negociate. Why? The price on the car is the price on the car. You don't go to wal mart and say I think that bag of chips is to expensive I want them for less. You don't do that. So why do we negociate with somethings and not with others. If we don't like the price we don't have to buy it someone else will. I feel that price and negociating on things is broken.
